On our last full day at DIsney World, we spent it at Animal Kingdom. This, for us, was the perfect way to end our trip and due to no end-of-the-night shows at Animal Kingdom, we had time to pack for our flight back in the morning. Here's some of our activities we did during our time at the park.
- It's Tough to be a Bug!: This is a cute show inspired by the Bug's Life movie. It's a 3-D film that uses additional effects such as touch and smell to bring the audience on a adventure. If you've never been before and have small kids beware, there is a portion or two that might be scary for little kids. - Kilimanjaro Safaris: This is one of our favorite things, and we do this first thing when we get to the park so we don't have to wait in a long line. Here you get to go on a tour to see all of the wild animals roaming free. Disney is really good about letting the wild animals at the park have more freedom, so they are never forced to be out unless they want to, which is cool because that means no two safaris are the same. Elizabeth's parents got on a safari twenty minutes beforehand, and even in that little difference saw some different animals than we did. - Na'vi River Journey: This is a boat ride taking you through Pandora's rainforest. - Winged Encounters - The Kingdom Takes Flight: Keep an look out in the sky, because you might just see macaw's take flight over Discovery Island by the Tree of Life. This happens several times a day so you're bound to spot at least one flight. - A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King: This is a great show that has resumed recently, and when we went it was just opening up that week for shows again since COVID. The show is really great, so it's definitely something you show plan on seeing while a the park. However, do line up SUPER early for the show because the lien can get ridiculous. We lined up before the first show of the day early, and didn't make it inside until the next showing. Our advice for this is to be patient, and get in line earlier than you think. - Feathered Friends in Flight: Here is a great opportunity to see free-flying birds at Animal Kingdom. Animal behavior specialists show you how they care and train the birds, and can see them do all sorts of cool skills. Like with the other parks, it's impossible to list all the fun and entertainment there is to do, but we hope this gave some good highlights if you plan on going yourself. It's so cool to see all the different wildlife at Animal Kingdom, and its differently a unique experience different from the other parks.

We tried a few different good food items at Animal Kingdom this trip! Our previous favorite place from the previous trip, Eight Spoon Café, unfortunately is still closed due to Covid-19. We tried out a new place and had some good snacks along the way!
