Last week we went to Tony V's in Cary IL, and took the food to-go to a nearby forest preserve for a great outdoor picnic, enjoying the good weather while it lasted. Originally Tony V's use to be located in Arlington Hts for 15 years before it relocated to Cary Grove and became a pizzeria and bar, which was how we knew of this delicious spot. They have a pretty big menu of authentic italian and american dishes, so everyone is sure to find something they will like. One of our favorites is the Italian Beef, which is super authentic and the recipe has been passed down through generations. But honestly there we enjoyed all the food we ordered overall, and definitely have to make a trip back to try more items on the menu. Due to the (seemingly) never-ending pandemic we took our food to-go, but hopefully in the future we can go back to eat inside the restaurant which from the looks of it would be a great casual hang-out place with really good food and drinks. It was a fun adventure, and we recommend stopping by and giving it a try if your ever in the Cary IL area. We might have snuck in a bite or two before we took pictures of our food, we couldn't resist!
