Magic Kingdom is definitely a classic must-do if you plan on making a trip to Disney World, especially if you plan on bringing kids! There may be no parade or firework show currently to end the night due to COVID precautions, but plenty is left to do within the park! Within the park itself there are five "lands" to walk through, Main Street U.S.A, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
Fantasyland: - It's a Small World: One of the most iconic rides within the park, and this one is perfect for all ages. You take a boat ride hearing children from all over the world singing, showcasing all different places and cultures. You might want to save this later in the day though, if only because you will have the 'It's a Small World" stuck in your head on repeat. - Dumbo the Flying Elephant: This is great for kids, as they have the chance to take a flight on Dumbo. This ride has been so popular they actually added a second one right next to the first to be able to take more people on. - Mad Tea Party: Pretty much another version of the classic tilt-a-whirl. Might not be for those who get more motion sick, but Erin gets motion sick and tolerates this ride pretty well. - Mickey's PhilharMagic: This could be a great pit stop on a hot day at the park, great to everyone 10-15 minutes of AC. This shows adventure of Donald Duck, with features of other classic disney characters as well. - Peter's Pan Flight: Take a flight through the story of Peter Pan. This line can be ridiculously long, and while it's a great ride it's only about 5-10 minutes long. Tomorrowland: - Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin: Similar to the Toy Story Mania ride in Hollywood Studios, this ride is more like a game to play against an opponent of your choice. You play to earn points and defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg, and if you reach the high score of 999,999 you become Galactic Hero! (Which earns you a ticket if you stop by the cashier on your way out of the souvenir shop outside the ride) There are many tutorials to look up online before you go to know which spots are high scoring, it took Erin about six tries to FINALLY get the high score. - Tomorrowland Speedway: This is super fun, as you get to cruise around a roadway in your own car! Not to worry, the cars are on a track, so it's impossible for young kids to steer parents off. - Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress: This is also a great place to go for a break in the heat. Here you follow a family through four generations and can see how technology changes their lifestyles over the years, What's cool about this ride is that is was originally built and opened at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair under the name "Progressland". Adventureland: - Jungle Cruise: This is a must for us every time we go. You get to take a scenic boat tour through the exotic rivers lead by a cast member whose job is to fill the ride with cheesy lines and jokes. Every ride is always different depending on what cast member you get, so its fun to see each one's take. Liberty Square: - Haunted Mansion: This is Erin's absolute favorite ride, and if you let her she will ride it about twenty times in a row. You get to take a Doom Buggy through the mansion and get to see spooky ghosts along the way. Unlike the name suggests, this really isn't a scary ride, there is no part that pops out or anything like that to scare you, so kids would like it too. Disney PhotoPass: There are photographers in each park (not just Magic Kingdom) standing all over the park ready to take your picture at some of the most iconic spots! They are linked to your account through the magic band, so you can purchase whichever ones you like best, or add the Memory Maker option to get them all. The great thing about this is that you can get everyone in all the photos, and they usually prompt fun poses, or edit in cool effects. We find that when we have it, we are more prompted to stop and take our photo, which we appreciate since those are the memories we keep for years to come. While we definitely didn't mention all there is to do in Magic Kingdom, we hope we gave you guys a great start! Comment what your favorite rides or attractions in Magic Kingdom are, we can't wait to hear!

We tried a bunch of random food items at Magic Kingdom too! There are a lot of famous snacks at Disney World and we made sure to try out a few of them for ourselves. Most were fabulous to have and we can't wait to order them again!
What is your go-to snack in Magic Kingdom? What is your favorite type of Dole Whip? What kind of Dole Whip do you think you would try at Magic Kingdom? Let us know in the comments or send us an email, Facebook, or Twitter message!
We've been wanting to try out this restaurant for a long time! It's hard to get reservations for here, Elizabeth got up at 5:30 am 60 days before and got one of the last slots available!! Right now due to Covid-19 the menu is a prix-fix menu where you choose your appetizer and entree and then get a trio of delicious treats for dessert! The whole restaurant is themed after Beauty and the Beast with 3 different seating areas: the ballroom (where we ate), Belle's library, and the West Wing (where the enchanted rose is). You can request where you want to sit but based on availability you may not get to sit in that area. The Beast comes out at random times and walks around the restaurant. You can take pictures of him from a distance, he moves pretty quickly though so you better have your camera ready! The food at Be Our Guest was pretty good as well! We do wish the portion sizes were a bit larger for the price of the meal, but otherwise it was worth it to us for the experience!
Overall, we thought that Be Our Guest was worth it for the experience but we wish that you would get a little more food for the money. If you are a lighter eater and/or someone who loves Beauty and the Beast, you should definitely try to get a reservation for here! Have you been here before? What is your favorite food here? What do you think you would try here? Let us know in the comments, send us an email or Facebook or Twitter message!
We went to the Crystal Palace for dinner at Magic Kingdom before the Halloween Party. This place features a wide buffet sure to hit everyones palates; even the pickiest of eaters!! They feature foods such as mac and cheese, corn dogs, and french fries for the little ones (or the young of heart like us), and prime rib, gnocchi, fish, BBQ and Cajun chicken, salad, and pork for adults (or kids who like adult food)! The food is very good, especially considering it's a buffet! The desserts are delicious here as well ranging from soft serve ice cream (with Mickey sprinkles!) to seasonal desserts such as eyeball brownies, s'mores tarts, and candy corn cupcakes. There is truly something here for everyone to enjoy! This place does accept Disney Dining Plan credit as a table service meal! BUT wait, there's more!! The best part of the Crystal Palace isn't the food, it's the characters! Crystal Palace is home to Winnie the Pooh and friends (Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet)! They come around to each table for pictures, and every so often, they do a parade with the children around the restaurant. We loved meeting with these characters and if you go here, be sure on the way out to check out the topiaries in the middle island, you just may see your favorite Hundred Acre Wood friends in topiary form!
