Considering its a big favorite of ours, we had to go back to Capannaris for a delicious cool treat in the heat! It's been very interesting for us to see the different safety precautions restaurants are using as they start to open up in phase four. Capannaris has the great advantage of being in a historical house and right by a park. This allows them to open up one of their side windows up for ordering, so the whole process is done outside as you make your way along the outside of the house. You order your ice cream on the north side of the building, and get to pick up the delicious treat on the south side. Then you are free to either bring it home, or there is lots of room and fresh air in the park outside to sit on a bench and enjoy your treat! Not everything is on the menu (such as milkshakes) but the ice cream it as delicious as ever! It was a great way to celebrate Elizabeth's birthday early, no matter the safety precautions we take to do it. Keep tuned for more socially distant adventures! Hope everyone is enjoying the summertime heat!

Hands down: This is the best ice cream place on the planet!!!! We ADORE the ice cream here and come here as often as we can. They are family owned and operated, and have been awarded numerous awards on a national scale with a handful of celebs loving the ice cream too! They have all types of ice cream here ranging from chocolate and vanilla to exotic flavors like Irish Cream, eggnog, and licorice. They also sell cakes, chocolate covered bananas, floats, and more. They make their own waffle cones here as well, and trust us, a waffle cone is definitely worth the extra dollar! The portion sizes are huge here as well, so even though their prices are a little higher than some ice cream parlors, you definitely get your money's worth here. Elizabeth's favorites are: Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch, and Chocolate Erin's favorites are: Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Cookies and Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chip Check out the link to their website and let us know in the comments what you think of Capannari's!
