As summertime is around the corner, we are once again encouraged to venture and explore, leaving the warmth of our winter hibernations. Recently we went out to Glenview try out the Dawg Park. This is located within the Glen shopping center, which is perfect if you wanted to grab food before a movie, or shop around. The Dawg is a gourmet grill, which have a lot of creative takes on classic comfort food items. We had a hot dog and chicken sandwich which was delicious, and accompanied them with shakes topped with candy. The food isn't too expensive, and there was so many interesting options that we would love to go back and try out. They also have bowls, which takes up the flavors of their hot dogs, burgers, or sandwiches but seems to be in a slightly bigger portion without the bread. One of the most interesting aspects of Dawg Park is that it is super dog friendly, allowing your loved doggos to eat inside with you. They offer water bowls, and even offer meals for them too. They have both plain chicken or beef without any sauce or seasoning, and put that along with some white rice. We brought Erin's dog Loki along for the outing, and got her the chicken option which actually was enough food to count for a whole meal probably for a dog, or close to it. Loki loved her meal, and had a great time saying hi to everyone, even making friends with a nearby dog at the table next to us. Overall this place is super cute and unique, and is worth checking out even if you don't have a dog to join you in the occasion. The menu offers a lot a variety, so everyone is sure to find something they enjoy. They even offer some games like connect four, or jenga to play in the back. We had a great time, and can't wait to go on more summertime adventures to bring to you guys!
