It's basically fall now, so it's officially apple and pumpkin season! We compiled together some awesome apple recipes for you to try out with all of the apples you'll be picking during apple picking season! Our favorite recipe from this is the apple cider doughnut cake from Betty Crocker, it's absolutely amazing and DELICIOUS! We suggest adding in extra cinnamon and sugar to this to make it taste even better. It tastes great in cupcake form as well and has apples in it so you can basically call it a healthy breakfast ?
Let us know in the comments which of these you try out, tips you have, and if you have any good apple recipes that we should add to this compilation! Check out all the recipes we found and liked here: Pillsbury Desserts:Pillsbury Savory Foods:Betty Crocker:Tasty:

Have you ever seen those amazing macarons in bakeries and wondered how you could make them at home? Well look no further! We have tried out this recipe and followed the steps by Tasty and ended up with super delicious macarons! If you follow the recipe step by step and the tips and tricks, you will definitely create some pretty awesome macarons! What's great about making macarons too is that they cook on such a low temperature in the oven that it won't heat up the house too much. You cannot skip a single step in this process, no matter how time consuming it is. The steps must be followed in order. We learned that the hard way when we forgot to put the sugar in until the last minute and ended up with some VERY flat macarons (they still tasted good though haha). We suggest if you love chocolate to save part of the batter and add a few tablespoons of cocoa powder (we use the Hershey's one which is the one that has all of the sugar in it still because #chocolateislife). Taste the batter and make sure you like the amount of chocolateyness before you pipe it out. More is better in our opinion. What's great too about this recipe is that you can customize it for any occasion! Just add a bit of gel food coloring (liquid won't look as good, but you can do it if you really want to) and color your buttercream accordingly! You also can add in a drop or two of orange or peppermint extract (the edible kind) to make them more fancy tasting! We also have made a delicious chocolate buttercream for it too to go in between the cookie layers. We use this recipe and add in 1/4 cup of Hershey's syrup and 1/4 cup of Hershey's cocoa powder to the recipe (yes it's a lot but it's SO worth it). Let us know in the comments if you try out making macarons and send us an email with a picture of what they look like! We want to know all of your variations on the macarons so we can try them ourselves!
Ever since Elizabeth got an Instant Pot® (Helloooo Target sales and giftcards 🤩🥳), she's found some pretty awesome recipes for it. The best one so far has been this recipe for 5-ingredient pulled pork! It's so good, she's even made it 3 or 4 times already!
Of course, being us, we made a couple modifications to it to make it even better! We use an extra 2 tablespoons of butter to sear the pork in the pot. Before putting the meat to sear, season it with dried garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper on all sides, then sear it. We replace the 10 cloves of garlic with the seasoning on the pork, it just gives it more flavor! We recommend using Famous Dave's Honey Barbecue sauce on the pork (half a bottle) after shredding it to maximize flavor potential. We also prefer using a pretzel bun for sandwiches, but you can put it on a hamburger bun or french bread loaf or even serve it on top of mac and cheese or straight up! The pulled pork maybe could be made in the oven? To be honest, we aren't sure, and we don't recommend using this recipe to make it in the oven because it's not going to cook at the same rate which could result in undercooked or overcooked meat. If you are looking for a good pulled pork recipe to do in the oven if you don't have an Instant Pot®, just let us know and we will find a good one for you! Check out the recipe here and let us know in the comments if you try it out and how you like it!!: |
